STI is a publicly traded software product and professional services company with its corporate headquarters located at Garrett Information Enterprise Center, McHenry, Maryland, and a Research & Development Center in the Greater Chicago Area, Illinois, offering a complete, start to finish reinsurance support environment for the global insurance and reinsurance industry that offers real-time access to critical enterprise-wide data when needed.

At STI, we pride ourselves on our understanding of, and experience in, the insurance and reinsurance industry. The team has a proven domestic and international track record of accomplishment in building state-of-the-art insurance and reinsurance systems based on extensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience from actually "doing the business". We earned recognition for creating complex reinsurance algorithms and methodologies to support automation of complex proportional and non-proportional technical accounting methods and claims recovery processes based on the book-of-business concept; we have decades of experience in developing sophisticated expert underwriting methods, rating methodologies and trend analysis tools. Hence, STI has an "insider's" knowledge of business operations in both insurance and reinsurance companies and we understand the underlying problems that our products and services address, which was the catalyst to design and build the SurSITE^® solution.
